If a group does not refuel properly when ordered to, it IS broken.
If there's a way to work around the issue, that does not mean there is no issue.

On Wooden Leg: Did you try to not order anyone anything and just watch it happen by itself. That's what I do and refueling is performed reliably every time.

In Wooden Leg, yes. Just sit back and watch it happen. It works reliably here every time. If anyone has observed problems without giving any manual orders please let us know.

Love the A-7 Corsair IIs in the pic. The Vought F-8 was also one of my favorite fighter\attack aircraft.

Well, that's fine for when there's enough fuel for the mission, but if I'm sending planes on a long flight I KNOW they won't survive without refueling, the manual order better work.

Also, in wooden leg, after failing numerous attempts to refuel manually, the planes turned back before reaching firing range when they ran out of fuel.

It should either realize before attempting that it cannot perform the mission without refueling, or accept my manual refuel order.
Preferably both should be possible.
