Joseph are you sure it appeared after the BETA upgrade or have you simply missed its there?

Look at the prep and supply. If it's been there as long as you think the prep would be 100% by now. Plus, how could that unit possibly have any supply? I wouldn't have missed this unit. It appeared just after installing the beta.

Good catch! Didin´t think of that. For fun I opened the same turn I used for the above screenshot (may 9th) but with the official patch instead of the BETA. The unit is indeed gone from the allies side too! [X(]

Must be something in the BETA that triggers it. Didn´t micheal fix some bug or something with Batavia in one of the older BETAs?

As mentioned earlier, the beta performs more unit checking to catch some earlier 'bugs' where units didn't always get killed off properly. As you have discovered, this unit was probably there for awhile and most likely had its unit type set incorrectly - when units are killed they will often get the unit type set to '0' and get removed at the end of the turn. However, I had found some cases where that did not always happen.
I add extra checking to the load save process to catch these - as there are still devices present, the unit was 'recovered'.
