Thors Hammer

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Post by guderian68 »

Just played Thors Hammer ...
I think that I was winning the scenario since my troops were withdrawing quite well causing high causalities to Soviert army when suddendly the british receive as reinforce 2 SSM... How could I resist ? 2 Nuclear strikes in few seconds... what a fun!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot to the scenario's designer, I'm still laughing now!!

Good Hunting.

Pretty to watch them go off too. They do cost you VPs to use.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Depends on which side of the FLASH you are on!! [:D]

My views of how I think WWIII would have gone are pretty much answered with the inclusion of this scenario.

Good Hunting.

I admit, I felt like a kid with a firecracker in his hand ...

On the other side I tend to agree with Mad Russian....

Only a minor issue: the SSM didn't get any claims or kills at the end of the scenario. And I know they did a lot (some friendly too) looking at the red crosses around the field.

Those kills may have been assigned to the overall HQ. Check that unit and see what it shows for them. Mine kills get credited to the high HQ. Maybe nukes do too.

Good Hunting.
