Looks like my CAF training programme is working. These guys just gave Goodboyladdie's bombers a bloody nose in China [8D] They're also sitting in the top 10 Allied fighter squadrons for experience,

If you like these guys you'll love the seven squadrons sitting above them [:D] From memory I've got three RAF squadrons and three USAAF squadrons who are more experienced, at least on a par with the USN lot. It's May 1942 and GBL seems to have run away from Mandalay already [:D]

I'm (almost) enjoying playing a game as the Allies even if I had to play Scen 2 to convince GBL to play as Japan. I'm hoping he's focused his air production on Nates [;)]

I was clearing out some old docs etc from the PC just now when I found something which made me smile. I saved this particular quote back in 2011 knowing it would amuse me again someday...
ORIGINAL: Chickenboy
I must say that my wife appreciates the larger 9.7 inch version that we now have between us. Sure, she could have made do with less, but no sense in denying the bigger option, wouldn't you say? Most guys I know have the 6" version, but I'm sold on the larger format. The extra weight isn't as bad as you think and it can be a real conversation starter when one whips it out in a pub or coffee shop. Your pal Laurie would probably be as willing to accept the 9.7" version as the smaller 6" format from you too, no?
