Well, got marginal victory with 58% overall rating and 87% of starting value of my force. Soviet arty was quite good at hunting my squadrons and fire spt hq's. Good thing is to position your armor quickly on those heights between Bad Neustadt and Heustreu, You can inflict some big losses on red units coming on those roads.

Splitting your forces in any way, really weakens your ability to punch back as they swarm all over the river crossings.

I've found making sure you have a lattice of fire from different well covered positions, is the best way to knobble the Russkies. I'm guessing the technical term is "concentration of fire". And on this scenario you really do have a limited amount.

Not sure if you're using Matrix' web site to host the image, but I use Photobucket.com, and just paste in the "image" tag links.

Perhaps the Matrix site limits image attachments to one per post? I suppose you could post each screen in a separate post - but its probably just as easy to dump the images on some site like Photobucket, or Imgur.com or the like.

At first, I was able to stop 17th Guards Tank Regiment Red Storm BG near or around by the town of Heustreu, and force them to fight against A/2nd and D/2nd Squadron 11th ACR. In 60+ minutes later, elements of 17th GTR were able to cross the river, and secure the breach on west side of the river. other elements of 17th GTR turned toward south/southwest in order to secure the objective(s). At approximately 1004 hours, elements of 17th GTR were force to withdraw from the battlefield due to high percentage of casaulties/losses. At least, I achieved Marginal success, but I tried to achieve "tactical success" or "Decisive success", it isn't easy due to 17th GTR's high percentage of T-80U and BMP-2 w/ mechanized rifles and then bullied all way to the objective(s) as A/2nd and D/2nd Squadron 11th ACR were forced to dancing around, and making every shot count.
