manned helicopters on 1960's FRAM destroyers?

Post by f4migcap »

hey guys, was trying to think of ideas for scenerios....was wondering IF there were any small ASW helicopters that could possibly fit on a FRAM destroyer that had the landing pad and hanger for unmanned DASH ASW helicopters. Any ideas?

Thanks Paul! Yeah i'm trying to be realistic on what can fit on the helo deck since they seem kind of small in photos i've seen. I was wondering if something like a Seasprite or a Lynx would realistically fit, that would give an old FRAM destroyer some additional AWS punch.
