Wow, Warspite is really pretty.

I never knew your figure was so striking. Sorry about what I said earlier in regards to talking asses. Yours can say whatever it wants. [;)]

As a wise nun once said,

There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say, "Cuckoo"
Regretfully they tell us but firmly they compel us
To say goodbye to you

Yes folks its that time again. I would just like to say thank you, you've been a great audience, I'm here till Thursday, try the veal.

You git. You had us all worried we'd never be able to harass you again. Plus, the Australian Beauties thread would fall into disrepair. It's better that you stick around then. Plus, I need someone to translate whatever Parusski writes. Parusski to English is a tough one.

Shrek? *Pah*! I suggest a battle of wits and you hit me with anthropomorphic animals and sweet lovable orcs. Shrek's ancestors fought at Helm's Deep, you know. Not considered a win by any margin.

Shrek was an ogre not an orc. There were no ogres at helms deep, ogres have layers. [;)]

I think tolkien was also bit short on talking donkeys when he wrote the helms deep section of lotr, pity as I think he missed a trick there imagine translation Donkey into Elvish. lol I'm glad your still going to be around though as your posts do make me smile though not always in a good way.[X(]

PS in the pictures of the girl in the yellow dress, the second picture down can you work out what the guy in the middle is looking at out of the corner of his eye.?

Well he's got his right hand covering the mouth of the lady to his left. He is looking at her out of the corner of his eye to ensure she does not struggle free of his grip and spill the beans. You see in his left hand is Ms Lively's purse that he's just nicked and the girl saw him do it.

Mr evil eye looks like a Bond villain. That or a very jealous boyfriend. Funny how we all caught that look.

Not really as it is putting me on the spot to explain myself, but as you have asked and I feel I have to try. Here goes.

Normally your are very erudite, learned and thoughtful in your posts and asking leading and tricky questions of others can bring out the feeling of Schadenfreude in me which I know isn't overly good for me.

How was that for a cop out answer. ? [;)]

warspite1,

I am very well thank you. My computer is whole once again and it's nice to be back. I note that there has been some strange goings on of late in this forum.

I like the look of World in Flames though. Sadly, after the recent expense of having to buy a new hard disk, I shall need to save up my pennies for the game. But it will be done even though it may take a while. It looks like a stonker!

Best wishes,
Steve

PS. How was the Peter Gabriel concert?

Well its good to have you back. Yes, hopefully MWIF will prove worth the wait - it certainly looks good and it will be great to play this brilliant game once more.

The concert was really good - considering the guy is in his sixties, he has lost nothing in terms of voice quality.

Shame he didn't play a few favourites - Games Without Frontiers, Cloudless and Signal to Noise, but I guess there isn't room for them all.

He had a couple of Swedes as backing singers and one took the Kate Bush role in Don't Give Up - what an incredible voice!! I downloaded one of her own songs (see the music thread) - absolute quality.
