Crete: which game to buy COTA or BOTB?

Hi,

I'm interested in playing a wargame covering the Crete invasion. I've seen that there's “Conquest of the Aegean” (2006) but seems older compared to:

- “Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge ” (2010)

and its expansions

- “Command Ops: Battles for Greece” (2013)
- “Command Ops: Highway to the Reich” (2012)

So I guess the smart move would be to buy BOTB and then move to expansions. But...

a) is there any scenario happening in Crete for BOTB?
b) Is it much improvement from COTA to BOTB? Is it really worthy to move to BOTB?

Yes I'd go for BotB with the Crete expansion..COTA was my favourite game in the series due to the scenarios..so I'm sure playing them with the updated BOTB engine they will be even better. Then buy the Greece expansion which has the rest of the COTA scenarios in it (Not out yet though). The Malta fictional scenarios where excellent.

Whoops sorry got confused..the COTA scenarios where split between two expansions..the Greece one first and Crete coming next..got the two confused. So if it's Crete your afer then get BOTB and wait for the next expansion..
