IIRC the flight deck isn't rated to handle an F-35B's exhaust temperatures either. Not to say it couldn't be modified in the future, but not right now without melting through that flight deck.

According to Combat Fleets 1 more of these along with the 2 Hyugas.

Very much agree that it probably will not defuse tensions.

Yeah bit of a naval arms race in the region.

Kyle Mizokami just published an interesting article on the rise of the South Korean Navy.

I would like to have HMS Queen Elizabeth, HMS Warspite, HMS Valiant, HMS Malaya, HMS Nelson, HMS Rodney, HMS Royal Sovereign, and HMS Renown included in the database. They were all available after 1946 (though not much past). It would be interesting to have them included.[;)]

I'd like to see the Caspian navies included

First of all a couple platforms for Kazakhstan:

Missile Corvette Project 250 (2012-0) 3 examples 1 from 2012, 1 from 2013, 1 from 2014.

link in Russian, the specifics are easy i think, but I can translate if needed

Love the game, great work devs!

A couple of no hurry Canadian entries since most of these are available under other nations (sorry I can't post links as I need to wait seven days from my first post apparently):

CC-177 Globemaster III (I'm sure it is the same as the other entries for the C-17 but if the Aussies get their own entry so should we lol)
CH-146 Griffon helicopter
CH-147F Chinook
CH-113 Labrador SAR helicopter
CP-140A Arcturus (an Aurora without the ASW suite - this might already be in the DB, I can't remember)
CC-115 Buffalo

And a few Cold War additions:

CF-101 Voodoo
CF-105 Arrow (it would be great to test out this potential interceptor)
CP-121 Tracker

Thanks. No rush...I just think it might be interesting to do a couple of early Cold War scenarios with Japanese vessels. The "alternate history" assumptions here might be that Japan was allowed to keep more of its ships after the war because America and the U.K. were worried about Soviet (and later Chinese) intentions. The patrol vessels were available almost at once to help with mine sweeping operations (in fact, some were used for this) and then with surveillance missions, ASW missions, etc. and the larger ships, which had been kept in reserve, were reactivated, refitted, and sent back to work to patrol the Sea of Japan once the Korean War broke out.

Speaking of that, here is another platform I missed...

Nagato-class battleship

I cannot seem to find if it has been brought up, but wondering if you might at some point consider doing a ww2 database.. or even if CMANO is expected to be very good at that style of warfare. It seems to me that guns and torpedoes work well, but not sure about a world where they are the only options.

Paul does have some WWII era platforms in his db but would take some considerable time and effort to build a full WWII DB. On the application side we'd have to implement more with the sensor and gun models, smokescreens and a few other WWII specific things.

I tried, back in the 'poon days, to put together a scenario on the hunt for the Bismark, but, much as I liked Harpoon, it just couldn't do it very well. I could see CMANO being up to it.
