Mhh... I'm starting my first PBEM, but something is going wrong.
My replay stops at minute 1.

Will we be able to continue games currently interrupted by this error after installing the patch?

That's not an issue, as long as you fix it in a short time [;)]

Hi,

I just updated to 2.01 and tried to resume the games.
Here is what I get.
Neither can I resign. As I try the game hangs.

Okay, it can't find the internal save file and I'm going to have to level a guess it is another localization issue of some form. What language are you running in windows? If it is not English, can you do us a favor and switch over to English and try to load the file and let us know if that worked. I'm going to attack it from the other direction on this end.

Thanks.

I was optimistic to continue all the broken PBEM++ games. Was able to play my turn but as soon as I clicked "Send" a new error message occured:

Access violation at address 00B4B1AF in module 'FPRS.exe'. Read of address 000001EC.

Can you guys try a new PBEM++ game and see if that also crashes. We thought we had this nailed down, but I guess not.[:(]

Tom is right, the match is gone forever.
As you can see, after changing my settings I was able to load the game, but now it goes on by itself.
Human opponent is no more part of the match and I'm playing against the AI.
Look at the C3 panel, It's quite weird.

Radagy,

The localization test and the screen shot will go a long way in helping use figure out what is off the rails here. This will bounce to our #1 priority for a hot fix.

Radagy,

Is your original problem with the floating point gone? Can you start a new game and test it?

Ok. Tomorrow I will give it a try.
Should I retain the English localization or revert to my local settings?

Use your local settings so we can see if the original bug is dead. Also can you look in your saved games folder for a PBEM .sav file? If you could post that for us to look at it would be a big help.

Thanks again for your patiences.

Hi Capn,

could you please tell me how to upload a .sav file?
As I try to send the pbm .sav the system tells me the file format is not supported (I guess I can attach just images).

I believe you have to zip the file for these forums to accept it.
