Are you guys including the possible fix you've discovered for this in the first patch or possibly a beta patch? I'd like to test it out & see if it fixes not only the SI window but the other possible oddities.

Hopefully both. The plan is to try to get a beta patch up this weekend.

Updated and mine still only works twice and then no more, using F6 or double clicking on the unit in the lower window no difference.....bummer.....love the mouse zoom.

budd, what OS do you have and can you get us a dxdiag file (post a link to the file so we can download it versus placing all the text in the post window).

Do you have multiple monitors?

budd, thanks for the dxdiag file. It will help us build up an idea of what is going on video wise with your particular system.

It's pretty consistent i get to use the subunit twice and no more, doesn't matter how i access it thru f6 or clicking the unit in the lower window, twice and thats it.

I have exactly the same problem. Newest patch doesn't fix it as it claims.

Out of the 4 dev we had one who saw this and not all the time. We made an adjustment and it fixed the latest trouble he had. Unfortunately, there still appears to be a deeper issue with the OS, window control at a low level and our main window and its low level control and then the SI dialog. It is frustrating to us that this bug exists and more frustrating we can't force it. I' ve never had the issue and neither has Rob the lead programmer.

I was the one on the team that had the problem and I could get it fairly regularly when I minimized my program and then maximized it. In fact, I think someone early on reported the same problem. Is there something that you are doing prior to the SU window not working? In other words, are there specific steps that you take before it stops. Thanks

haven't noticed anything yet and i've been looking. With the new update once i use the subunit more than twice the map clicking and scrolling gets weird things act delayed.Eventually it comes back[not the subunit] and i can scroll and map click and zoom without problem, but then it comes on again. This didn't happen with version 2.0 only thing that didn't work was the subunit inspector. I've only ran and hour of the game in a scenario but have opened and closed scenarios during placement trying different things to see if there's a common thread, so far nothing jumps out. When i played that hour it went fine until i used the subunit more than twice than i had map clicking and zooming and trouble scrolling map with the left mouse click. For me right now the update play worse.
