Setup Bug?

I began setting up a new scenario and then saved before finishing my initial placements and orders, fully expecting when I loaded the scenario next time to finish my setup. However, when I did load the save, the game had left the setup phase and I was no longer able to place the units, no shaded setup hexes, and no initial orders etc. I tried with another scenario and same thing, so easily reproducible.

This is a know issue and on our feature list. Right now the game "sees" a save game as something that has been started. It will take a bit of code wrangling to create a "setup" state for the file since additional information will need to be stored and retrieved.

Fair enough, thanks for clarifying. Hope it gets fixed soon as it is very inconvenient for those of us with time constraints.

We had a similar comment from one of our team about a week or so ago. I think we all feel your time constraint pain.

Believe me, I have been ragging on Rob over this for over a year. I like to take my time on setup. Especially on big scenarios it would be helpful if I could save it and come back and continue my setup. I will keep ragging
