No-click dead zone

Post by zouave »

On my third play of the tutorial scenario, I've run into an odd problem about 2/3 through it. There is a large grouip of hexes centered around the VP city that won't respond to mouse clicks. I can't select units or plot barrage waypoints in those hexes. I can select a friendly unit in the zone through the OB tab, but once selected the unit still won't respond to mouse clicks. Units in hexes outside of the dead zone have no proboems. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

I'd attach a saved game for you to examine but those types of files can't be uploded to your forum. I can e-mail it if you give me an addres.

I don't recall if I had used SI or not. MSE and Curse were int he background.

I did not have this problem in my first two plays of the scenario.

I was wondering if a background app popped up a small dialog box and it was ghosting through.

Now that you mention, I did see some of my desktop icons ghosting through at times.

What OS are you running? What is your desktop color select. Flat or transparent?

You should check the Sub-unit inspector thread and see if changing your theme fixes the ghosting.
