Executable stops working

I've had this problem every since I upgraded by computer. It only happens when I exit the game using the Window 7 close button (top right X) but it does not happen every time. If I close the game then exit the game from the menu I have no problems.

It's no biggy just that it's bigging to irritate as it is the only game/app that does it.
