I do not know how... or even if it is possible....... but somehow I will try to get the Imperial Walkers in the mod.

Imperial walkers have been around since the clone wars so will have existed during the Battle of Yavin period.

I finally finished adding the resources pictures. This took longer than expected with looking into each of the 41 selected resources in the Star wars world for the description.

An added complication was trying to match up resources with the worlds they could be found on.

For example, I initially had a luxury resource allocated for an alcoholic drink called a Tatooine Sunburn...... ( yes that is an actual drink in the Star Wars universe)

However, I needed this drink to be found on an ice planet and it made no sense looking for a resource called a Tatooine sunburn on an ice planet.

Hence the drink was renamed to the other popular drink..... the Dentarian Ripple

Now that is out the way.... development continues.

Oh my goodness....PLEASE don't let our resident Smuggler DATA hear about THESE new drinks! [:-] There could be trouble in the Star Wars Universe and a new market in the Star Trek one!

Have created the Main title Page for the mod and added it to the opening post on Page 1.... have a look at Page 1 if you have not seen it yet.

Below is a screenshot showing my original attempt at the title (on the left) compared with the final version (on the right)

EDIT: After looking at the final picture above, I noticed two small errors in the design. Have fixed this and updated the Title Image on Post 1 Page 1

*** Breaking News ***

As a preview to the release of this mod Star Wars : Alderaan , I am working on a movie intro which will be available to download from here (very soon) prior to the release of the mod. The movie will be a part of the mod itself.

Stay tuned for more.....

Update:

The preview video will initially be 2 minutes and 5 seconds in length.

- Soundtrack for video has been added
- the first 35 seconds of the video have been completed

I too would like to know this..

Oh and I think that images were sought for different stages of construction of the first death star. I found 2 that were from the force unleashed which was a game that took place between episode 3 and 4.

Due to some issues I have being having with my email address and no longer being able to log in here as rjord , I have a new account rjord1


The development of this mod continues however a little slower due to an increase in work load in "Real Life". I had also hoped there would have been a modding guide for Shadows by now but I guess this is still being worked on.

Also looking at how to make the star destroyers bigger than the Millennium Falcon for example. When tie fighters are attacking the rebellion the tie fighters are the perfect size compared to the destroyers.... perhaps I need to reduce the size of other ships so they are smaller than the Star Destroyers.

Thanks for the update. Any help you need just let me know. Based on some other mods that have already been converted to shadows maybe asking your questions in here, will get the modding veterans in here to answer them, if that meant a faster launch of this mod.

I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, but this mod sounds great. Any news on its release?

Is this the only Star Wars mod that can still be found to work with versions before DW:U ?

From a quick look around (without testing), it appears that it might be, but ... the last post in this thread is 6 years ago...
(I am a huge Star Wars fan though,
so I'd be happy with just a Star Wars theme...
preferably one which is Star Wars content era(s) released in the Star Wars timeline before Return Of The Jedi
(possibly including the now-so-called "Star Wars Legends" content,
which mainly came in the form of RPG & novelization content created before the release of the Ep. 1 movie.

For example; like this thread from around 2010: (lordxorn's Star Wars ROTS mod)

I'm playing the version of DW: Shadows (version before DW:Universe), and that mod, particularly the weapon graphics mod and flag graphics mod,
sound like something I'd love to use.

then "to reduce suffering" is a good start.
