Info on scrapped/deactivated/decommissioned ships?

I was wondering if one of you bright folks might be aware of a centralized location on the web containing information on ship scrapping/deactivation/decommissioning? Especially if it goes back a number of years. This would be a good source of info for my scenarios where my tiny islands are the recipients of second hand ships.

Maybe not all countries are listed, but it is a start.
