Canary Cage Froze on me!

Post by GBOATZ »

Wondering if anyone else had the problem that after carriers ward off falcons and the second message fires, the game stops responding? Maybe there is some limitations as to how many planes I had up in the air or something? Or maybe it may be my computer? Win8, 64Bit 2.9 GHZ, 4 GB Ram?

I've had ~800 aircraft in the air at one point. The game was going pretty slow but I know for a fact that there isn't any hard limit.

Well it could be a bug, I'd recommend sending your Autosave to the devs and describe what was going on when it crashed.

In the end I believe it was Windows 8. I transferred the game to my Windows XP computer with 2GB RAM and 3.0 GHZ processor and now Canary runs slow, but steady. I also set time compression to 5 seconds as 1 sec seems to freeze up a lot. Want to tweak this before I get to far larger scenarios.

Hopefully future scenarios will play smoother
