la Gaule Orchard preview

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

That Orchard looks dangerous, probably a couple of flamethrowers and a Pzschreck hidden there.

Thanks! overall most of the maps come with variety of open fields and dense hedgerows/orchards. The open fields come with a different type of cover which the player has to use wisely; such as sunken roads and dense cornfields.

The orchard offers protection from enemy sightings, but also can hide the enemy allowing for an excellent ambush.
