simultaneous time on target

Post by scottb1393 »

being an old swg-1a operator in the 90's we had a tactic call "simultaneous tot" my questions would be

1. is there an easy way to plot out an attack say using two ddgs to have their harpoons arrive at the target at the same time to overwhelm self defense weapons?

2. can we do an off axis attack? this would/could prevent the attacked from returning an accurate bol at you?

You can do an off-axis attack with Harpoons by simply steering the missiles after launch and moving their activation waypoints.

distance(nm)/speed(kts)=tot, delay the launch of the closer unit by the difference in time. For more complex planning there are TOT spreadsheets.

Currently in Command you have to manage the "delay".
