If this hasn't been asked for already can you add the CF-101B Voodoo to DB3000. It was in squadron service in Canada till 1984. Thanks!

I don't see the KC-46A? Am I just not seeing it in the DB3000?
Thanks!
I'm afraid we need more (detailed!) info in order to make a good implementation. If you know any good sources that have enough info please post up.
Thanks! [8D]

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
There's an inaccuracy with the SS-N-3a Shaddock missile. It currently can be launched by submarines that are submerged, but should only be able to be launched when on the surface. That was one of the main problems with the Soviet Juliett and Echo class subs. I updated my spreadsheet accordingly:

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Wondering is it possible to add DECOYs in database. The TALD was used with great success in the opening stages of Operation Desert Storm in 1991; more than 100 were launched on the opening night of the war, with the first being deployed by Lt Jeff Greer. This prompted the Iraqi air defense to activate many of its radars - most of which were then destroyed by anti-radiation missiles.
Also this was used in Operation El-Dorado Canyon in 1986 by US Navy EA-6B's.
ADM-141 TALD

Older ADM-20 Quail could be also added (Cold War databse).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADM-20_Quail
For Soviet Union not sure did they have decoy missiles. But KH-20 (AS-3 KANGAROO) / K-10 (AS-2 KIPPER) did have K-10SP-version with Countermeasures platform with jammer systems.

There is TALD missiles already. Excellent! Only problem is to find aircraft which could fire those. [:D]

Only problem with TALDs I have is that there is no way yet to have the AI fire them. But in the future I know it will be added surely

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
It took a while to found the way to deploy TALDs. I used bearing attack. BTW. F-14 Tomcat should have these TALDs 1986 version too, US Navy used them against Libya. Now only 1990+ Tomcat's can arm them.

ARMED versions of the following ships (already in database):
13-m Motor Yacht
38-m Motor Yacht
23-m Fishing Boat
35-m Fishing Boat
800-ton Trawler
1250-ton Large Trawler
Commercial Tugboat
Basically, just add a 7 mm. machine gun. These would allow designers to simulate rebels, police boats, pirates, terrorists, drug runners, etc. This way there will be a version in the database and the weapon mount won't disappear every time there is a database rebuild (which I think is what happens if you just make a custom version by adding a weapon mount in the scenario editor).
Thanks.

Requested platform...
Suicide boat
This is probably just a matter of taking one of the civilian/commercial boat platforms (or a couple of them) and adding some kind of bomb, warhead, etc. When it gets close enough to its target, it goes off, sinking itself but also damaging the target vessel. A boat like this might also have rocket launchers or even a shoulder-launched SAM so it can defend itself long enough to get close to its target.
Thanks.
RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Had a look at the NZ entries in the database and noticed a couple of things with the aircraft:
(All quotes from the RNZAF site)
NH90TTH is operated by the Air Force
All the Orions are also operated by the Air Force
Where's the Huey? RNZAF has operated the UH-1H since 1970
Also needs the C-130H
Air force also operates 2 Boeing 757-200s
(All quotes from the RNZAF site)
NH90TTH is operated by the Air Force
All the Orions are also operated by the Air Force
The RNZAF took delivery of five P-3B Orions in 1966 (NZ4201 - NZ4205). In 1985 an ex-RAAF P-3B was purchased (NZ4206). All six Orions were upgraded (avionics and radio systems) under Project RIGEL in the early 1980s. Following the upgrade the designation P-3K was applied to these aircraft. Aircraft that have undergone the current upgrade programme are designated P-3K2.
Where's the Huey? RNZAF has operated the UH-1H since 1970
The RNZAF currently operates 13 Iroquois helicopters. Five UH-1D (NZ3801- NZ3805) were delivered in 1966. A further nine UH-1H (NZ3806 - NZ3814) were delivered in 1970. A further UH-1H (NZ3815) was delivered in 1976. The UH-1Ds were progressively upgraded to UH-1H standard during the mid 1970s. Two ex-US Army UH-1H attrition airframes were purchased in 1996. One has been brought into service as NZ3816.
Also needs the C-130H
The RNZAF currently operates five C-130 Hercules. It took delivery of the first three Hercules (NZ7001 - NZ7003) in 1965. These were the first C-130H production models off the Lockheed production line. A further two C-130H, (NZ7004 - NZ7005) were added in 1969. Currently the aircraft are undergoing a modernisation and structural improvement programme to ensure that last until 2015. Upgraded aircraft are designated C-130H (NZ).
Air force also operates 2 Boeing 757-200s
Two Boeing 757-200 were received in 2003. Starting in 2007 both aircraft were fitted with an upper deck cargo door to facilitate an 11-pallet cargo capability, internal air stairs, upgraded engines and flight deck enhancements including full compliance with current global air navigation specifications and standards.

Do you have any evidence that suggests Austrian 105´s were/are able to use AAMs, ASMs or Bombs?
