It ended up being an exchange of 4 US CV+1 fast BB+1 slow BB for 3 IJN CV+2 Kongos. Instead of being angry, I'm now largely ambivalent.

As the allies, I would make that trade any time. I would count that as a strategic victory. Depending upon which IJ CV's, this could be 50% of the KB decimated. 2 Kongo's is a very big deal, again 50% of their fast escort gone.

This is a win to me ...

Speaking of Havanas, there was this thread on on the main forum that mentioned Des. Got a git teary eyed, so put on the cap he sent me and went out to find some cigars. Bought some Perdomo, Habanos, with Connecticut wrappers, Honduras, a serious good smoke.

Put my cap on and smoked the whole thing, thinking of Des. Hours of enjoyment. So long as he lives in the hearts and minds of his friends, he is not gone.

Thank you, Sir! It was touch and go for a while. A great game over all. The pro league is devouring itself with only two teams at the top that are not separated by just one game. Lots of completion. My slow start will probably keep me from the playoffs due to lack of points. The only way I will get in is by wins.

I have Aaron Rodgers in both of my leagues. I just clawed my way up to first place in my work league. My prospects don't look nearly as good without Rodgers. [:D]
