freeze in tutorial

The game froze just as a bunch of bombs were hitting the targets in the Air War tutorial. I had tried to get all my planes in a preparatory area before launching the attack, creating a bunch of missions with the same four points defining the area. However my first wave of Corsairs did not wait, and along with some Tomcats, attacked the target area (after the first Tomcats killed all the enemy planes). Then a second wave of Shrikes and bombs came in, but just as the first ones reached the targets, the game froze.

I am not using any betas and have the 3000 and CMDB addon images loaded.

Same problem here, just according to the tutorial's briefing, arrange some F14 to execute AAW patrol mission, froze after some game time passed
