[FIXED] FTW?!? Strangeness in Canary Cage

Post by BlackMoria »

Just started Canary Cage. Three minutes into and I get this message.

S74 Tramontana (S71 Galerna [Agosta]) has run out of fuel and lies dead in the water!

WTF? Is this a bug or does the game model breakdowns? Do I have the Captain of the Tramontana relieved of command and court-martialed, assuming the sub survives the 901 Mourad Rais heading its way from 10 nm out?

More importantly, any way I can get the SF forces on board to the beach now that the sub is dead in the water?

And yes, it is dead in the water. No damage. Diesel fuel shows full but batteries are empty. I assume surfacing or periscope depth will allow me to charge the battery off the diesel engines.

i think that non nuclear subs consume batteries when moving bellow periscope deep, try sending the sub to -20mts and cruise speed, in 1 or 2 hours batteries will charge.

I thought this was deliberate if a bit unusual.
