Mad Russian

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Mad Russian

You have probably noticed MR's absence the last several days from the forum. No, he has not abandoned us. He has been sick and laid up in bed. He did sign in yesterday for a few minutes but told me that he just didn't have the strength to do anything. Hopefully he will be recovered and back with us soon.

Being sick in bed doesn't really qualify as enjoying a bit of R&R. Get well soon Mad Russian!

Made a little side trip to a Dr's office this morning. He says that the rumor's of my demise have been at least slightly exaggerated. [&:]

His prognosis was that I should live but probably won't get any better looking.[X(]

So, there you have it.

Thanks for all your concern about how soon I can get back to creating more scenarios!! I do appreciate all the well wishes.

It might take me a day or two before I feel 100% again but at least I should start to get better now.

Good Hunting.

Managed a little computer time this evening. Feeling considerably better. Hope I can actually stand up tomorrow and get to my gaming machine. I despise laptops.

Hi Mad Russian,

Hope you get better.

I just purchase FC:RS a few minutes ago and looking forward to playing it. Loaded it on my laptop and getting ready to leave for Korea in two weeks for a major exercise there, wont be back until middle of December.

Thanks John. I'm looking forward to seeing your comments about the game. Been a long time between projects for us.

So, what? You think Korea will be warmer than Colorado this time of year? [X(]

Be careful and we'll be expecting your opinions of how this game plays when you get back.

Good Hunting.

I'm not looking forward to going to Korea, I hate the 13 hour flight [:)]

At least I will have time to play the game and give a report back.

Oh, and I will be staying at Camp Humphreys.
