[Q] Question - Unit won't stop firing weapon

I'm playing Operation Brass Drum. One of my units, DDG 1000 Zumwalt SAG will fire at any enemy aircraft within about 140 NM. There is very little success, so I want to stop it from firing weapons automatically. I have other units that are more effective. I've changed options on ROE for Maintain Standoff and Engage Ambiguous Targets, but it keeps firing.

Any thoughts on how to get this to stop?

Select Zumwalt and on the attack menu, select no AI attack (and don't forget that you will then have to micromanage that unit's weapons)
