Not unexpectedly the Cowboys lost. I was goated into talking them.

Shockingly! I've won in the Basic League by .28. [X(]

I'm also still alive in the Pro-league.

All due to Pierre Thomas doubling his projections.

And "INP" means exactly what? [&:]

What, you never played KING OF THE HILL?

AN INP means you are number one, the tops.

Everyone else pales in comparison to the glow of your achievement.

Got it?

A so-so day at 7 & 4.

I'm projected to lose in both leagues, but you never know.

Here's one to make Chickenboy smile. I'm taking his boys and 7.5 in the night game.

Oops! [:D]

Those last two sacks for NO's defense on the last Dallas "means nothing" drive gave me the win in the Matrix Basic league this week. [8D]

Somebody had to eventually lose to the Jags. Probability caught up to the Titans.

Good morning all.
Back from deer hunting. Great time. Cold winds. But still a great time.

I got the assist.[;)]
We took 3 out of five tags. Not a bad year considering the population is way down. Even though they didn't get a tag, most of the boys showed up. One coming up from the cities. Next week one from Nashville. Our camp fires (Bon fires? you decide.) are epic lore in the county over the past few years. Two this year. And we needed two fires; that west wind was brutal. Took all the comfort out of mid 30 temps. And the coyotes again...didn't take for them to get into the gut piles after we pulled the deer out. Had to be at least fifteen of them fighting over the entrails. Listening to them howl in the night, sitting around the fires, having a coule of beers.
God I love living up hear.[8D]

Didn't get a chance to go this year. Boy got his grades, we packed up, and then some Texans offered my uncle who owns the land we hunt on $15k a week for 3 weeks to hunt. My son was pretty stoic, and I can sure understand my uncles decision, but it still hurt. Gonna take him pheasant hunting over the Christmas to New Years school break & try to make up for it.

Pheasant hunting where?

Wish I could get an offer like that for my land.

We'll go out in the cornfields NW of Denver I'm thinking. As for the cash, I'd post a pic of some of the elk that have come off that mountain, but dead animals & such might cause an uproar. Suffice to say my son got a bull @ 90 points off a B&C record on his first hunt. Darned thing didn't fit in the back of my Dodge 2500 short bed [:D] Proof available on request [;)]

Veterans Day.

So I'm at Winn Dixie doing last minute shopping for tonight's extravaganza. I'm starting in one direction and this fellow is finishing in the other. We meet in the middle.

94 years old with a cap, in a motor chair with a flag. He was "in tanks" in the big one. Was a farm boy from Nebraska and knew a bit about motors, so ...

Ended up behind him in the line-up. Had a grand-daughter with him to help out. They did a total and both were scrambling for wallets and cash, so I stepped around them and slid my card. He did get a bit pissy, but I told him No, "today is your day" and I am going to do this. And seeing as how I'd already done it, that was that.

Know all of you have a grocery store where some some vet in a motor chair shops. Just take the time to follow the fellow in the check-out line and pick up his purchases.

It will make you feel good. And make them feel good too. Righteosness for righteosness' sake is a key to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Ciao. John
