Can you Undesginate a unit after you have made it hostile

Post by GBOATZ »

I am not sure if I should have marked a unit as hostile, although the data base stated it 'could be' a civilian vessel that carries weapons. After I marked it hostile and sunk it, it showed up in scoring as a civilian vessel! Maybe next time I can change it back?

If not, we need to have this ability.

Good to know. Some whales need to know they're (relatively) safe.

This is one of those areas where being more non-Harpoon would have been good. Flexibility in assigning keys and making every hot key command have a mouse-click equivalent would have seperated Command a little more from the Harpoon UI.

I thought "drop contact" just stopped the unit targeting weapons. Does it unmark the target as hostile? i.e will it go yellow again?

It will drop the contact completely and then reacquire it as unknown.
