WITPA & Windows 8

A friend of mine bought WITPA and was never able to install it on his new PC that uses a Windows 8 OS. Fortunately for him he was able to install it on an old PC he still owned. Now I have a second friend who wants to buy WITPA and he, too, has a PC that uses Windows 8. But he does not have the luxury of owning an old PC. He will not buy WITPA unless I can get assurance it will work for him or a remedy to Windows 8 issue. Can you help?

I've been playing it on a Win 8 PC with no problems at all since february of this year.
We are all dreams of the Giant Space Butterfly.
