[FIXED] Nothing works to load Command

Hi all,

I've completed a fresh install of the game, patched with v1.01 and B460. Everything installed fine. Now, nothing works to start the game. Not the launcher, or even going into the Command folder and using the .exe file directly. I've posted the error report and hope it helps. I'm running XP SP3. I was able to play previously, but since I did a fresh install of XP it hasn't run. All my other reinstalled applications run as before, plus I bumped my RAM to 4GB.

I've got a new way that the game won't load...

The launcher screen shows very quickly. When I click "Play" I get the first Command screen with the missile launching. After that there's a quick flash, as if a window were launching. But nothing happens after that.

Running Build 460 on Windows 8. I've updated all my prerequisites. Any help would be most appreciated!

Assume you had a prior version running. Try deleting your Command.ini file from the main Command folder and then restart (commmand will rewrite that file at launch). You will have to reset any saved game options/settings you may have set before as this is the file where these are written.

I got the same problem, what i do is when that missile window appear, i wait 2 seconds and then klicking like hell on play button and it works almost all the time
