Still considering it myself. I realize it's a good game. But just not sure it's my thing to spend the cash. Way too many interests...and so little time make it an interesting call.

But I keep reading about it. Maybe I better stop doing that. [:)]

Yeah that's what got me finally, reading about it. The subject matter already interests me (IM an old sailor)...I just finally broke down and got it. Im a big WITP player and over the decade I have probably logged 1000s of hours with that game well worth the entry fee...hope this is the same.

I will admit to firing it up last night and being completely lost...and that was in the tutorials. Guess I need to do some more reading.

Don't get discouraged. Command does have a bit of a learning curve but my experience (with Harpoon, too) is you get a certain point and then suddenly it all makes sense--it's a bit like learning a language, after playing it a few times, you get to a point where you are "speaking Command." :) And please feel free to post questions here. My experience so far is that this is a pretty friendly group of people and will be happy to answer questions, etc.

If I may geek out for a moment, I just played a scenario that included my old ship (USS Ranger) in something we actually did (patroling the North Pacific). Of course there weren't quite as many vampires about :P....but yeah, that was fun.
