FPRS error in scenario 4 of Soviet campaign

First turn and running 2.02. I am constantly getting an error:


Access violation at address729D9362 in module 'comctl32.dll'. Read of address FFF0003C.


I click OK and the game continues to play, but the error keeps repeating.

Can you get us a screen shot of the error and also the campaign save file? Do you get the error if you restart the game? Was this before or after the Depot phase of the mission?

I'll do more when I get home.

It all happened in turn 1, after the depot phase.

A little more background: I played the first few turns of the battle, then a power outage killed the computer. When I reloaded the campaign, I was back at the depot phase (after saving it after the previous battle). It was during "take 2" of turn 1 that I started having this problem.

If you can post the saved game file I will load it and see if I can duplicate the problem. If it is duplicable we can nail it.

I'm back home and the scenario is running fine -- 2:07 into it and no more errors. Alles ist gute!

If the issue happens again let us know. Almost sounded like that dll was corrupted from the power loss event. Can't complain if it's all good now.
