Wife and I just finished watching Season 1 (10 episodes) of Danish/Swedish TV series "The Bridge" ("Bron" / "Broen")...

The runway he landed on was a 18, McConnell is a 19. There is less than 10 miles between each end. Now, granted, if he just few around the airport and looked for the 20+ KC-135s sitting there instead of the 20+ single engine Cessnas, he would have realized he was in the wrong place.

Chatted with a commercial airline pilot I know who is considered an old timer, he said all the new aircraft are fly by computer screen and watch your computer instead of being a pilot. I am thinking that is part of this...
