Seeking first time PBEM opponent

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Seeking first time PBEM opponent

Post by Mort3 »

[Copied from Combat net forum]
Hi
Having played all the Close Combat series of games and combat mission I stumbled across SPWAW during a hunt for something a little more challenging, preferably turn-based and with the option of PBEM, as this style of play suits my spare time perfectly.
Being free and of excellent quality SPWAW was the perfect find, and well I love it.

I have gone through the manual carefuly whilst playing through several 'trial' battles to learn things etc and I feel I am ready to give PBEM a go.

Therefore I am seeking an opponent who is willing to provide fair opposition and a good game whilst being patient with my apparant lack of PBEM knowledge, and able to offer advice where it be needed.

I am new to the hex based wargame scene and Matrix games.

Any advice etc kindly recieved.

Thanks all

Hi Mort!

While you're finding pbem oppnents, I will direct you to a thread about a tutorial project that is now going on. Email me if you think any of these will help.
