Stuck at 'Please wait, updating Units in Hex panel.'

German Land Move Phase. German land unit overruns convoy points in Copenhagen. Some convoy points escape. Germans have a NAV air unit in Baltic Sea. Convoy points elect to 'fight their way through' (unsure about exact wording). Air-sea battle occurs; Danes lose 1 of 2 convoy points. After battle Danish convoy points elect to abort, and rebase in Frederickhavn.

Current phase is 'Naval Combat Abort Digression'. The units are aborted, so every time I click end-phase, I get a pop-up message 'Please wait, updating Units in Hex panel.'. I tried closing and reopening the units in hex panel, but makes no difference.

And; 'You cannot save game at this point'. So, well and truly stuck. Grrr.

I'll add it to my list of things to investigate. It should be easy to recreate the situation you described. If you can send us a saved game during the land movement phase, before the overrun, that would save me some time and effort. Send to MadExcept@MatrixGames.com. If you zip the GAM file first, that will make it a lot smaller.

I have the same error appearing in a somewhat similar situation. Saved game sent.
