I kinda remember that there was an issue with that Baffin. At setup I was clicking to fast and the Baffin+another CVP got placed on the Ark. Could be a problem where you place multiple CVP on a CV and then revert that choice at asetup ?!

What seems to be the problem though, is that the Baffin on the CLV Hermes (sc two post above) is in the 2-Box while its CV is in the 0-Box in <ctrl+H> yet its transported in NRD (though NRD might just omit the actual CVP sea-box section, and only show the transporting CV's sea-box section). What does the (-1) mean? Isn't that the place to display damage? So that should be the angle..

I still remember some confusion with multiple CVP on CV (not the on Ark, because that is just fine as is). So you might also want to look into that configuration at setup.

Rather sure by now that the Baffin on the Ark and the Baffin on the Hermes are the same (like in pointing to the same counter instance). I am missing a tool to verify counter identity :/ (screenshot might be compelling)

* CVP transported by [CW CVL "Hermes" (Bay of Biscay, 0-box)] is a [CW CVP 0-2-*-* "Baffin" (2-box)].
* CVP transported by [CW CV "Ark Royal" (Western Mediterranean, 2-box)] is a [CW CVP 0-2-*-* "Baffin" (2-box)] and another [Swordfish *].
* "Units in game" <ctrl-u> shows one [CW CVP 0-2-*-* "Baffin"] in the W.Med/2 on the Ark (which also shows as transported on the Ark in the unit details <mouseover>, ref post #2). The other such Baffin is in the reserve pool (ref, post #6).

Presuming units in mwif are based on Patrice unit file (which correctly reflects the counter reserve up to the 2008 Annual, sans counter sheet positions), you should have two [CW CVP 0-2-*-* "Baffin"] in the game (one from SiF and one from CVPiF, assuming KiF is not featured in MWiF). (->) There are duplicate reference to one of either counter in the game (in the savegame from post #5).

I want to suggest that what I vaguely remember really happened; either clicked "too fast" or in a weird order, s.t. (correctly) two CVP ended up on a CV (like a [1]+[2] on the Ark[3]). That was not to my liking, so I tried to change the CVP placement (during setup), while the CVP resided already on the CV and where not in the setup tray anymore (although other CVP might have been in the setup-tray, yet not those in question for the process). Now the transfer from collection["Ark Royal"]->collection["Hermes"] was only partially successful, by adding the CVP to latter and not removing from former.

This is a meta-error that appears in multiple places your codebase (moving from collection A to collection B should not change the sum of items contained). Lets call it "unsynchronised collections". Seems this basic principle is also used for money-genesis at Matrix Games..
