Supposed to be rain today with slight chance of snow tonight. It was rain earlier, but now snow with temps 10 - 12F less than predicted.

At least it's winter over there......

(And a high fire danger... [X(] How does that work!! )

It surely is. Just put a heater inside the pump house. Hit a low of about 15F this morning (no wind). Busting out the warm hats and gloves!

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Terminus

Another storm over Denmark. Slightly less powerful than the one a month ago, but predicted to last about 4 times as long.

Cold wind and snow?

Leo "Apollo11"

We might see some snow showers tomorrow but today's it's been rain. And rain. And rain. And rain.

Or Joseph Campbell's version. "We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls."
Oh, yes. There were once, Giants. Been communicating a lot with Francois Charton, and he’s been getting into English language poets lately. He’s asked me about some, but my brain isn’t quite wired that way. Then I started re-reading Martin Gilbert’s First World War, that’s replete with verse.

Rediscovered Wilfred Owen. Got a glass of wine, put the dog in my lap, and went to bed with Dulce et Decorum est. It took a long time to finish. Every phrase was more powerful than the last. Every line evoked an image or a memory. I was drenched, but my mouth was dry and my ears were ringing. Woof !!

Unlike Nashvillen, I will not tempt the INP gods and past on an INP only two posts away.

Just got intel on the Penguin's carriers sunk at the Battle of Noumea. Akagi, Kaga and Hiryu. Along with Kongo and Haruna, the Atago and a couple of CLs and DDs.

If only it hadn't cost me my last fleet CVs.

You can replace your losses. He can't. It's definitely a victory. Do you still have the Brit CV's?

Nope. All gone.

I'm hoping to do something in Ceylon. Upgrading infrastructure at Madras so I can load troops for the short hop to Jaffna. Plenty of troops, lots of sealift, very little naval combat power.

Thursday Night Football!

Can the Jags win three in a row? Can the Texans lose eleven in a row? Sure both can.

I'm taking the Jags and 3.5.

Playoffs begin in the leagues tonight. I'm a slight undergog in the basic league. I don't have any players in tonight's game, but my opponent has 4 of his 9, So this game means alot.

I have the luxury of a bye in the pro-league this week. I will be watching how Feces chuckin' apes does.
