All I want for Christmas....

Post by msvknight »

All I want for Christmas is the two map campaigns...I want to play Europe and I want to play the Pacific, just not at the same time. I'm finding playing 7 players over 4 maps is driving me crazy and I find myself being unable to get very far as I am only able to go slowly due to controlling everyone.....Pretty please...

I would myself prioritize Netplay, Production, and then Supply.

Oh well, at least Shannon knows he won't have coal in his stocking. He will have a lot of long-frustrated people who have been waiting for MWIF to come out for years, to hound his every waking moment. [:D]

no body says that you have to play all 7 ..

simply pass alot of them and play where you want .. and ignore the rest ..

the small scenarios are hard to code, many special rules. so I doubt it will be ready for Christmas
the wif rulebook is my bible

I work hard, not smart.

Il playing Global solitair and skipping the pacific all together to learn the other side first. Works for me. To be honest I stoped when I mucked up my Japanees Campaign in China hehe.

I wouldnt mind getting this, but asking too much for it and infact it doesnt even have AI supports. There no telling how PBEMs will work out, hard to find good players to stick with the game though.

I usually don't play strategy games solitaire, but I am currently doing so for MWiF and it works remarkably well. Since the game is so complex it is surprisingly interesting to play both sides. Also, I do as mentioned above: playing the European theatre only (just passing with China and Japan, and set their production to 0)

If you are going to play only the European theater, How would you handle events like USA entry?
There would also be withdrawals especially of US navy units.

Good point. A "learning" game until the end of 41, and for all the difference historically, until the end of 42.

Somewhat later than normal for lending of US resources and build points and for the Gift of Destroyers as well.
