question about "detected by enemy"

Hi all guys.
I've seen that there is a good new option in the editor for a trigger, and is "detected by..."

but i have a question:

i want to make a scenario when Syrians launch mig 25 if Americans are near Damascus.
I think that a new trigger "detected by... INSIDE those reference points...." will be good.

What do you think?

Is there a wat to do that with the present version of the game?
