Merging Estabs?

Post by Rosseau »

Is there an easy way to merge (cut/paste) two different Estabs (say parts of BftB and Greece) within the Estab editor to create a new one? Perhaps that is the import/export clipboard command?

Thanks guys

I have succeeded at merging estabs (one the game baseline, another a custom estab from a fellow user) based on the instruction from the Estab Editor manual.

The basic caution is to work with a copy of any standard estabs rather than attempt to modify the baseline.

I used the convention "Myestabsxxxxx" to differentiate names between those I'd modified and those standards that came with the game.

I went through a number of trials and errors until I decided to slow down and read the instructions thoroughly before trying to hit again.
Take care,

jim

Thanks Jim. Caution is definitely the word. The Brabant and Operation Thunderclap mods are quite good. Any other custom estabs, please let me know.
