Having Metz mostly surrounded the German's launch a risky assault.

The attack NW of Paris goes off without a hitch. The German's now have a hexside on Paris.

The first attack on the Yugo's goes off like clockwork.

The French line continues to bend but not break, how much longer this can last is the question. The French did consider a couple of low odds attacks but the best they could find was a plus 4. So they choose not to attack.

Starting the 3rd impulse of the turn, perfect weather again.

Germany launches a series of attacks probing for a weak spot in the line.

Zagreb falls to the Germans and the Hungarians.

Another blitz attack get the Germans another hexside on Paris.

Also forgot to take a screen shot but Lille also fell but the German's took 2 losses and half disorganized to do it.

Finally got the first bad weather roll of the turn.

Italy, having deciding they have set on the sidelines long enough, declare war on the CW.

Blitz attack in the rain is successful. On the italian side, they move a fleet into the W. Med. to contest the CW there, but neither side finds. They do have a successful Naval air attack in the E. Med, destroying CW convoy points there.

Whoever is in charge of the Western Front is obviously a Genius. Who could withstand those die rolls [:D]

I'm sure you'll pop off a die-roll of '2' at just the worst time, when you least expect need it. That's what happens to me. [:@]

In a game i'm playing I used an o'chit for a 3 hex side attack on Paris to get it taken a turn early. A 2 pops up disorganizing the cream of my army and taking out my paratrooper [:@]

M/J 40 ended on the Allied turn. There were no new partisians. And no US entry options chosen. US entry is really lagging behind. Here is this turns production.

USSR: pilot x2, mech, Inf x2
J/A 40 starts with the Allies winning Initiative and choosing to go first. The French hope to try and fix their line and hold out as long as possible.
