Here's a view Tracker gives of the date of arrival of the carriers that the Allies are going to get. I've sorted the DOA column in
increasing order to give a better idea of how many carriers are coming and when.

According to Tracker the Allies are building about 530 planes per month of various kinds. In the red rectangle I have sorted into
ascending order how many planes are being built ( inside the parenthacees ) per month. The P-40 is being pumped out the most
and the transports aren't getting many new ones.

Hey you guys: I just got through watching the combat animations and was mildly annoyed w/ the screen jumping up and down on the
right side. I can still make out the rough draft of what's happening on the right side but I'd really prefer that it stand still and lemme
see the movie like it's supposed to be seen. I'm hoping there's a command-line switch I can use or something. I'm running Windows 7
for an operating system and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that's there's no cure. It's MicroSoft after all.

I can't help you there, sorry. I've only heard two theories - Its your video card and how the game uses it. and the second is its from the bomb's and TT's hits to accentuate the effects... I have no problem being wrong in either case...

I just get colored blocks aproximating the size of the animation and it suddenly appears after the battle starts... then the box stays for 10-15 sec after the battle finishes and makes a discolored box on the right hand side. It clears up by the end though! <grin>

I have had that. Try adding one or both of these switches to the shortcut command line that you use to start AE:

-fixedArt

-noFire

Yeah thanks dude. -fixedArt and -noFire one or both of them fixed the problem I was having. I don't get to see the planes firing their guns and the naval bombardment doesn't light up the coastline anymore but at least the picture is rock steady now.

Here's the situation around Pearl. It looks like the KB has split up and both parts are headed NW so as to flee the scene of the crime.
Jim has an excellent opportunity to jump on at least the southernmost part of the KB and scratch the paint some more. I'm guessing
John is going to try to get the separate parts back together somehow, to get the undamaged carriers to protect the scratched ones.
I keep saying the scratched ones.......I mean those carriers that got a shell hit in the most recent naval action. At least two of them
were hit and they have probably already repaired the damage and are applying another coat of paint even as we speak.

Why thank you kind Sir! Although I really just had them out there to avoid being Pearl Harbor bait for the bombs and torps... Just proof that Irishmen are lucky as a four leaf clover LOL! I'll take it anyway!

I changed over two training groups and got decent skippers in them.

Manila is just a mess and I'm Sir Robin-ing everybody to Manila and started building forts there... decent supply there but getting hammered every day.
I looked at the USA HI/LI and resources and it looks like you fixed everything already... I didn't see any changes to make for them.

I would rethink about shutting down EVERY Chinese base, some of the northern bases can still make some supply because the resources come from Mongolia and surrounds. Unless John goes for all of China, it won't make a difference if those fail, but can help a ton to slowly build up some troops there.

What were the air loses for the Japs on day 2? How do the ships look at PH?

the full enchalada as far as info is concerned. No detail is too small. Well......up to a point.

Here's the situation around Davao. John is moving south of the Celebes too. He's headed for Darwin I guess. D'oh. I've got ships
headed there. I'll have to divert them when I get the turn back.

I didn't shut off the production of the factories.....just the repair of the damaged factories. It would cost a small fortune to repair one of
those factories and besides I'd rather repair the Resource Centers and Manpower Centers and so on. To get the flow bigger before
we spend that flow on something. I can see repairing the LI and HI if that's what you mean. Those bad boys put out supplies and we
need that. I'll take a look around to see what I need to change yet.

I hope you don't mind that I turned on the stockpiling on several bases there on the West Coast. I didn't know for sure that you were
going to take a look at that for a while. I was going to explain what I did to keep you in the loop but then forgot about doing it.

I found four squadrons of Hudsons in the Northern Oz area that might possibly be able to make their way to the Celebes or
somewhere to get a shot off at the Jap TF's headed their way. The Japs will be at Darwin in another day or two then moving
the planes will be moot.
