Game situation: IT is at war with Yugoslavia, but not with CW. W Med. has both CW and IT transports. A Yugoslavian SCS just moved from Malta to W Med. IT did not intercept.

Load savegame and continue twice.

CW chooses to initiate in W Med. Roll both searches unsuccessful. Click OK. Behold an empty naval abort queue.

I get the same error after two unsuccessful searches with GE subs vs. CW SCS and CP.

Another variation: IT is at war with FF (not CW). IT sub in Cape St. V. initiatie search. Both sides commit subs. Both unsuccessfull. Abort queue opens. The CW CV in Faeroes Gap has to abort. [X(]

I have a somewhat similar issue with the empty abort que after the Germans tried to spring a surprise raid on the CW in the North Sea. They went a few rounds with some ships getting aborted on both sides and the Germans breaking off the action. The game went through aborted ships return to base digression fine. It then went to the Germans, which I returned my remaining ships to port. I now have this screen to deal with and it insists I have units left to abort.
