No fuel for aircraft

Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.

Aircrafts need no fuel? [&:]

Have not played this a whole lot but it seems like yeah, no fuel is requied, but ammo is somewhat limited so one has to go back to an airfield often anyway - also to refit - get strength back. What I like regarding the lack of fuel is that the airplanes can fly all over the map and one does NOT have to micromanage to determine if the aircraft is going to crash and burn buy running out of fuel even though it is fully loaded with ammo. I can leave planes flying "CAP" (sitting still) over my units so the enemy planes do not easily come in and bomb my units.

Is a strange decision by the developers. [&:]
We all know that at the end of the Russian campaign countless planes are rotting on the ground due to lack of fuel.

A lot of soldiers are also starved.
Why did the soldiers in Germany at War: Barbarossa 1941 do not need any food? [&:]

Yeah Exactly, and it pisses me off how the Luftwaffe doesn't dominate the Ruskies maybe in the grand campaign they do ???
