BFG sources??

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

BFG sources??

Post by Phoenix100 »

Does anyone know what the sources are for the dispositions in the Greek battles in BFG? Centaurs, for example. I don't know who designed Centaurs, but I guess they would know. There must have been a source for the starting positions for the Greek troops etc, the OOB, the entry points for various Italian divisions. I'm interested in reading more. Anyone know who designed the centaurs scenario?

I'm trying to remember whether it was Steve Long of Steve Barnes. Not sure right now. But in both cases they were impeccable researches. The sources for these were listed in the old COTA Reference Manual. I've attached the relevant section as a .txt file. Just change the suffix from .txt to .zip. Unzip it and you should have a pdf of it. It has links etc to a swag of source material.
