Looking for Game

I thought I was a decent player, but recently played someone with a decade of experience and have found out that I'm still a low to intermediate player.

I'm looking for a game initially on Vassal. My goal is to play the game with MWIF because I constantly make mistakes in Vassal and would like the game to enforce the rules, but I can't start playing until PBEM is supported. I simply don't have the time to be online enough.

Is anyone up for it? I can play either side and we can negotiate optional rules prior to choosing sides.

I´m interested , but Netplay "works"like crap, instead We can play using hang-outs and emailing every impulse finished.
If you want to play that alternative way it´s easy ;

- first you need to have one gmail account (It´s free).
- second if you have that account you can start or be invited to "hang-outs" which allow you to share your screen with persons who are in the same conversation.
- third one of us can iniciate one "solitaire" game, and after doing his turn, will send that file every end of impulse by email.
- fourth when we are sharing our screen during our turn, we can answer directly the other about interceptions and other interaction ( like combat mode choice, etc...) , then It´s no need to send every phase to the other , only the final impulse.
I´ve tested that alternative way and It works, at least better than the bloody netplay WIF multiplayer feature. What do you think about?

Hmmm....I'm interested. What's your time zone? I'm available Monday through Wednesday nights all evenings. During the weekends, it's spotty. The issue is being online at the same time, which is why I'm suggesting Vassal. But I can try this providing our free time syncs up.

My hour is GMT+1 , However I´m very flexible about time , in fact I could play all night long if your zone is 6 or more hours from mine, advantages of being retired .

I'm willing to try. Give me some time to get game downloaded. My email is vicberg@comcast.net. Feel free to email me and we can get all the required software going. For my Vassal games, dropbox is great for managing save files. Might work well for this as well.

We are in the middle of something, but I think we could have a slow round in parallel form january on. vassal/voice/google. euro times. targeting sessions on weekends, twice a month or more would be doable in between other wif and asl.

I'll have a DOD game going by then, so won't have time, unless you want to get involved in that. We have 4, looking for a 5th.

Vicberg, I have WiF vassel but I have never played using it. However if you still need a player I would like to give it a try.
