The problem would be to turn it off when the war is over.

Pfft...what? Riotous jihadis still populating the Moluccas and Mindanao 75 years from now (c)? Right...like that'll happen. [8|]

Just discovered something. Shemya is a West Coast base. This frees up all the restricted USN bombers squadrons on dangerous duty in Oahu and San Diego and San Francisco.

Even better, we have 85 PB4Y-1's sitting around under canvas. They can be our force on Shemya, putting them
within range of Paramashiro-jima.

How is the defensive armor on the PB4Y-1?

I fear a grievous startegic error has been made.

I had homemade pea soup for breakfast and some rearry good chile for lunch. Only afterward did I consider the "logistical" implications. So far, nothing, but it may just be the calm before the storm.

You should meet the mother of the children my wife babysits for.

Shes a lactationist...(spelling) for those of you who don't know, google it on a non work computer

She is a super uber organic tree hugger..

I call her the organic milker.

She has a bumper sticker on her car that says Human Milk for Humans, Cows Milk for Cows...[8|]

She flat out told my wife's best friend the reason her kid has foot allergies is because she didn't breast feed and that she is an awful mom.

Good thing she is smoking hot.....not sure how her hubby puts up with it.

Not sure why I put this here, hummus and cucumbers salad looked liked human salad when I first glanced at it....

but I figured this AAR of all AARs would be the place to put it.

She's bat shit crazy.

Having fun with all the later war AFB toys, and getting to play in other places than Aus, Solomons, and Burma?

Hmm... propellant already in place. Greek (lots of oil) = lubricant. Hummus = gas seal. Cucumbers = buckshot substitute.

Sounds like you're loaded for bear!

I appreciate the hell out of lactationists / lactation consultants. Have you priced infant formula lately? When I saw that before our first born, I pointed at my wife's breastesses and exclaimed, "Those things had better work!"

Every time she breastfed, I heard a cash register sound. Music to my ears.

Drat, I have to go and dry out my keyboard again. I should know by now not to read this AAR with refreshment in hand.

Speaking of things blowing up..watched a tremendous Nova special on the Ruhr dams raid.

Crazy engineering prof from Trinity College recreates the entire process from an engineering standpoint, they build a replica bomb and drop if rom a bush plane in Canada...and...well you have to watch it.

Nova: Bombing Hitler's Dams

It sounds like some History Channel childish, unhistorical treatment but it is very good. They found a Canadian bush pilot with 13,000 hrs. Crazy old guy.

Everyone's opinion is like a penis. You can wave it around, show anyone you want,
but please don't cram it down my throat.

My wife breastfeeds, but when she can't, who the f cares...stuff happens.. stuff comes up, she can't pump, she can't feed, that's what formula is for.

Not yelling at you, yelling at the lactanazi..
