WPO won't load

WPO won't load

War Plan Orange will not work after loading. It won't respond.

WITP:AE does work on my computer. Most Matrix games work except WPO.

Please help.

Yeah, I have to let it "stew" for about 5 minutes (with a Program not responding message) after launching before I get control back. Weird.[:(]

I get the same response from the program.

Wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problem launching the game?

you guys are talking about the game getting hung up while trying to start a new game? I have had the same problem since windows 7 and haven't played since

No, it hangs starting the program. I've no problem with WitP:AE nor HoI 3.

It would appear from the avalanche of response, we simply have "weird" machines.[&:]

Thanks lecrop, but that isn't the issue. At least for me (Win7 w/video directory deleted).

I'm not sure what could be causing the problems. I run WPO on Windows 7 without any problems. The only feeble advice I can give is possibly using the Program Compatibility tool to try to run the game on an earlier version?

I can also say I've had very good luck with Matrix/Slitherine's customer support. If all else fails you might want to shoot them an e-mail.

I also had win seven and used the fix suggested for the video and it seems to solve my problem
