Plotting around No-Nav zones

Post by YaSchi »

I have seen aircraft "bumping" on No-Nav zones.
It seems they are not able to plot around these zones from the start and follow the edges.
This leads to longer routes and maybe can explain some fuel-related crashes (of the planes, not the game).
Any one else aware of this ?

Yep, you can see this in the scenario Op Sling of David. Israeli aircraft returning from strikes in Iran bump up against the no-nav zone around Jordan and will skirt along its edge. Rather than take a more direct, fuel efficient route to get home.
