Is this an area you were assigned to?

At the moment there aren't enough terrain elevations to do that area justice. BUT, they are coming!! [&o]

No, just read the book "Red Thrust".

First time I was in Germany 1979 -1981, I worked with the German Airforce, the second time in Germany, I was stationed at Panzer Casern, Stuttgart, 1 ID.

So I am assuming your scenario/campaign will be based on Steven Zaloga's book Red Thrust. If so, that sounds awesome. I just started reading it.

Doing some research and concluded that for right now the NATO Forces will be:

3rd Squadron, 2nd ACR out of Camp May (Regan)
11th Panzergrenadier Brigade

There will be an updated map to show the location of the units. Warsaw Pact forces will be later.

At the moment you can't have more than one nations forces on the map at a time.

I have a campaign where there are more than one nation involved on a side but the campaign doesn't track those.

Whichever nations units you set as the core for the campaign will be the only nations units you can use during that campaign. It won't allow you to put in another nations units.

Ok, the main core forces will be 11th Panzergrenadier Brigade, and if I read it correctly, the 3rd Squadron 2nd ACR can be in the scenarios but wont get tracked, that will be ok, becasue the Cav will only be in the first scenario. Now don't get this wrong but they will be only a speed bump for the WP forces [:)]. The battles will be against the West German forces.

No, you can't have more than one nations forces on the side the campaign is tracking.

You can't do a scenario with WG's that the campaign tracks then add the ACR which it isn't. It will only accept forces from whichever nation you set up the campaign for.

If you have a Soviet campaign then you can mix and match the nations forces it fights against. But the side the campaign is tracking can only be one nations forces in all the scenarios.

Not a speed bump, far from it. Always remember that a ACR had 1/2 the combat power of a armored div with 1/4 of the troops. A ACR is all teeth but light in tail. It is not the mission to stop the Warsaw units, but to buy time for REFORGER to kick in good. In 1989, the 2nd ACR was trained to a razor's edge. We feared nothing, we could take on anything on the bad side of 3-1 odds and kicked the crap out of it.

Really need to be able to track multi nations forces. We trained to work with our Partner units of the German army.

We know. That's been on our own wish list before you guys were even aware there was a game.

It'll get here.

Just takes time.

Have I miss anything since I've been gone. Reason asking, the dam internet over there, is dam slow and unreliable.

That is a very good book. Got that one myself. Read it a few months back. Thinking of putting together a mini-campaign for Steel Beasts Pro Pe based on that.
