Newbie Question -- Force Size

Post by Beruldsen »

I just purchased the game and I'm going through the tutorials. My first question...how can you quickly tell how many actual troops are in your stack?

Hover with your mouse over strength points of the regiment. It will show number of men, horses and cannons for brigades/divisions and for the stack.

Remember the game engine doesn't actually use the number of troops. The stack's Power, which is determined by the number and type of elements, is what is actually important and is influenced by things like command points, leader stats, supply, terrain, weather, frontage, etc.
